Preparation for Inhouse-Trainings

Room Setup and Schedule

For the training, we need a room large enough to set up 2 block tables for 6 people each (i.e., two tables facing each other with 6 chairs). There should be some additional space in the room for our exercises.

For each team (table block), we need a Metaplan wall or a similar surface where we can attach Post-it notes (e.g., walls with an appropriate surface). Additionally, we need one (preferably two) flipcharts with paper and a Metaplan wall for myself.

Trainingsraum

Ideally, the room is already set up as shown in the picture.

If the course is to start at 9:00 AM, we need about 1 hour to prepare the room, so we will be on-site by 8:00 AM. Please provide a contact person to access the room or the reception procedures for your company.

The schedule is flexible. We often begin at 9:00 AM and end around 5:00 PM (depending on the length of the lunch break). Breaks can be scheduled as needed. Typically, we take a break every 90 minutes.

For training sessions outside Munich, we travel the evening before and would appreciate hotel recommendations near the event venue.

Participant Preparation

Participants will achieve optimal results if they start familiarizing themselves with Scrum before the training.

For Agile training, we recommend reading the Scrum Guide (16 pages – in English!) as preparation and completing the Open Assessment from Scrum.org for status quo evaluation: (Product Owner), (Scrum Master)
