Methodology – How we train

In this course, the projector is absent. The learning content is conveyed in a triad of theory, hands-on experience and exchange of ideas and experiences over two days. Alternatively, this training can also be carried out virtually – highly interactively – online on four mornings.

We are committed to sustainable learning that is as effective as possible. That’s why our courses are designed to be interactive and highly practical.

This means, among other things, that we work in small groups, use training concepts from the training “From the back of the room” as well as elements from positive psychology and brain-based learning.

Our Schedule

The foundation!

In this session we answer the following questions: Where does Scrum come from? Which core elements does Scrum consist of? Where is Scrum (not) suitable? What are the preconditions for success with Scrum and what is "Agile"?
Day 1 in the morning

The Framework

In this session we will dive deep into the Scrum framework. After this session we know the Scrum Accountabilities, the Scrum Artifacts and the Scrum Events as core elements of Scrum and how they work together. With "Done and Undone" - an important (if not THE most important) concept in Scrum we close the session.
Day 1 in the afternoon

Product Delivery with Scrum

In this session we will work through the planning idea of Scrum with the help of a concrete case study. Afterwards you will know how to plan, estimate and also approach longer-term projections in Scrum.
Day 2 in the morning

People & Teams - the Scrum Master

In this session you will learn what it takes for teams to work together and not against each other. We will learn what promotes and hinders engagement and also look at the role that the Scrum Master plays as a servant leader.
Day 2 in the afternoon

Assessment Preparation

We conclude the training with everything you need to know to pass the assessment.

Training Schedule

Our training starts 09:00h. Feel free to come a little earlier, coffee, tea and bakery will be provided. Both training days will end around 17h30. Please also note the currently effective corona rules.

Online we train with Zoom and Mural. Both tools can generally be used without problems from a current internet browser – ideally Google Chrome or Firefox.
